Two nights’ accommodation in a superior double bedroom based on two people sharing. Offer includes one bottle of wine and one dinner for two on the first evening and breakfast on both mornings. The dates are subject to availability at the hotel. The prize must be redeemed by 31 March 2020. Entrants must be aged over 18. The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for a cash value. The judge’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into. Moneywise Publishing Limited shall pass information on the winner to The Miller of Mansfield. The area is perfect for outdoor pursuits, including walking, cycling, running and water sports. There are more than a handful of National Trust properties, such as Basildon Park, Grey’s Court and Nuffield House, nearby, plus towns and villages of historic interest.
The region is one of the most densely wooded regions of England, with ancient forests of ash, cherry and oak trees.
It also boasts a rich cultural history and associations with literary figures. Kenneth Grahame for instance, was inspired to write his celebrated novel The Wind in the Willows from his time spent around the Thames in nearby Cookham.
