Airmiles doubles points for Christmas

From now until 10 December Airmiles members shopping online will receive twice the amount of points on their shopping.

High street retailers participating in the promotion include: Apple, Argos, ASOS, Boden, Comet, Currys, Debenhams, Dell, Ebay, Interflora, John Lewis, Play, Tesco Direct, QVC and Waterstones.

In order to qualify members simply need to spend £60 in a single transaction at

Retailers typically offer one airmile for every £5 spent, but for the duration of this offer member will receive two miles.

There are number of ways to collect Airmiles: with a Lloyds TSB Airmiles Duo Credit card, via Tesco Clubcard or a Shell Drivers Club card and via the Airmiles eStore.

Currently members with 750 points can fly anywhere within the UK, Paris or Amsterdam (Zone 1), while those with 1500 points will make it to Rome, Prague or Barcelona (Zone 2). To make it to Canada, The US or Far East (Zone 5) members will need at least 6500 miles.

Alternatively you can buy days out - for example, 175 miles will buy one adult entry to the Eden Project in Cornwall.
