New best buy tables for credit cards and loans introduced
We’ve introduced best buy tables for credit cards and loans giving you a snapshot view of the best products for borrowing and spending. Why don't you bookmark the page for future reference.
Are you aware that most comparison sites will show you only products from providers that pay them, leaving you to trawl around several sites to see the rest of the products on the market? We’ve decided to go the other way and show everything – those providers we have deals with, and the ones where we don’t. We show you the best products in the market for each category, full stop. For this we use datafeeds from independent researching house Defaqto. When we have a deal we will link to the site and get payment if you end up taking up the offer, but we won’t let that influence how we present these products to you.
We hope this makes it easier to find the best financial products for you. We hope to roll out similar best buy tables for other products such as savings, cash ISAs, mortgages and current accounts soon.
Customer service scores
We are also developing in-depth comparison services for those product areas - a unique feature of the comparisons and best buys will be the introduction of customer service scores, where relevant. These are ratings that our readers – the real customers - gave to financial product providers when taking part in our Great British Customer Service survey earlier on this year. We hope this will give you an indication of the level of service you can expect from the different financial companies, as well as helping you find the best rates and benefits. See for example See top credit cards available to you todayas well as the more traditional categories like intro offers, rates and rewards.
