Get an eating out discount membership worth £49.99 a year when you purchase a financial product through GoCompare.

What is the deal exactly?

Make a qualifying purchase of a financial product on the comparison site to receive a free Dine membership worth £49.99. The membership includes deals and discounts at thousands of restaurants across the UK every day of the week.

Big-name chains such as Café Rouge, Bella Italia and La Tasca are included, plus a wide variety of highly rated independent restaurants.

Why should I care?

Eating out is not cheap these days, so making savings through discounts and two-for-one offers can make a big difference to your bill at the end of the meal.

The Dine scheme is newly launched, so GoCompare is offering an exclusive deal at Café Rouge to customers. The offer allows Dine members to a free glass of prosecco for up to eight people in addition to 25% off their total bill.

What’s the catch?

In order to get a free membership, you must purchase either home, pet, car, van or motorbike insurance via the GoCompare website. Then you’ll need to download the Dine app, available on Android and iOS, to start using the deals available.

You don't need to enter your debit or credit card details to get the app. But after 12 months, your membership will expire and you'll have to purchase a new insurance product via GoCompare to renew. Read the full terms and conditions to make sure you’re able to take advantage of the deals on offer.

What are my other options?

Good voucher codes for meals are not that hard to come by these days on website such as Vouchercloud. Moneywise updates weekly on the best cheap eats available.

Alternatively, you can purchase a Tastecard, a diner’s card that offers a range of similar discounts. However, Tastecard membership costs £79.99 a year.

Where can I find out more?

Check out the terms and conditions page on the GoCompare site for more information on Dine membership.
