Earn triple points on your spending at Boots this weekend, meaning you can earn the equivalent of 12% back on your shopping.
What’s the deal?
Retailer Boots is rewarding shoppers with triple points when they spend in its shops and online this weekend.
Normally, Boots Advantage Card customers earn four points for each £1 they spend. As each point is worth a penny to spend in Boots, this represents a 4% reward. This weekend customers will earn three times the reward points – equivalent to a 12% return.
However, to qualify for the extra points, shoppers must spend at least £30 in-store in one transaction or a minimum of £50 in one go online – although this can be across multiple items. Points are automatically added at the checkout, as normal.
Why should I care?
With Mother’s Day taking place on Sunday 11 March, many sons and daughters will be looking to make a purchase this weekend ahead of the big day.
This deal also offers extra rewards if you’re looking to spend on beauty products, accessories and electronics.
What’s the catch?
As outlined above, you must spend a total of £50 in any online transaction to earn the extra points, and £30 if you’re spending in a Boots shop.
You also must be quick to take advantage of this offer. It runs until Sunday 4 March for purchases in store and until Monday 5 March if you’re spending online.
What are my other options?
Always do a price comparison first to check if you can buy items cheaper elsewhere once you factor in the additional points – and never just buy for the sake of the added points.
If you’re shopping for presents somewhere other than Boots, you should see if you can take advantage of an alternative rewards scheme.
