The price of festive Christmas tipple, Baileys, has been reduced at several supermarkets this week, with the cheapest found at Asda and Morrisons.

What’s the deal?

Until the close of store Sunday and 11.59pm for online shoppers, you can get a one litre bottle of Baileys Original Irish Cream Liqueur for £10 at both Asda and Morrisons, subject to availability.

This price is discounted from £12 at Asda and from £15 at Morrisons.

Why should I care?

Asda and Morrisons’ deals make this the cheapest one litre bottle of Baileys currently on the market, according to supermarket price comparison tool mySupermarket.

It can retail for up to a hefty £21 at some supermarkets.

So, now’s the time to snap up a bottle in time for Christmas when it’s traditionally drunk. Of course, as this is an alcoholic drink, please be Drinkaware.co.uk

What are my other options?

According to mySupermarket, you can currently pick up a one litre bottle of Baileys Original Irish Cream Liqueur at the following supermarkets online, although prices and offers may vary in store:

  • Ocado - £12 reduced from £21
  • Sainsbury’s - £15 reduced from £20
  • Tesco - £12 reduced from £20
  • Waitrose - £16 reduced from £20

If you buy online, do factor in any delivery charges.
