Congratulations to Moneywise columnist Jeff Prestridge who won the Contribution to Personal Finance Education category at last night’s Santander Media Awards 2016.
These prestigious personal finance journalism awards are now in their 30th year. Shortlists were drawn from a record number of over 250 entries, and selected by a judging panel of more than 20 independent industry experts.
Moneywise.co.uk was delighted to be shortlisted for Financial Consumer Website of the Year and our monthly Moneywise magazine was also shortlisted as Financial National Title of the Year. This is a significant achievement as no other money media outlet was nominated in both categories. Read more about Moneywise magazine here.
Moneywise contributor Ruth Jackson was runner up in the Financial Freelance Journalist category. Read her feature on why your living costs in retirement might be less than you expect.
Meanwhile, Georgie Frost, who hosts the Moneywise show on Share Radio, was runner up in the Personal Finance Broadcast Journalist of the Year category. You can listen to the Moneywise show here.
Congratulations also to Marina Gerner from our sister magazine Money Observer, who won Financial Consumer Newcomer of the Year.
