Seven in ten Moneywise users pick packed lunches over eating out

21 September 2016

Nearly seven in ten (66% of) users take the money saving option of bringing a packed lunch into work each day.

Whether it’s homemade sandwiches or leftovers that cause a stink in the office when heated up, our latest poll results reveal that a packed lunch still beats eating out – despite the choice we now have on the high street.

Just 9% of the nearly 700 people who entered our poll, which ran between 13 and 20 September 2016, said they buy lunch out every day.

However, a quarter (25%) did say they employ a combination of eating out and bringing in a packed lunch.
