Cyber Monday – the day Amazon expects to be the busiest for online shopping ever – is here.
If you haven't already shopped til you dropped this weekend – perhaps the chaotic scenes reported across the country put you off – and you’re planning to break the back of your family’s Christmas gift list from the comfort of home today, here’s the Moneywise round up of what’s on offer from some of the biggest retailers.
So what deals are there?
The internet giant has deals scheduled to go live throughout the day but so far some of the best include £150 off the 32 GB Amazon Fire Phone, taking the price to £249 instead of the £399 RRP. The phone will be delivered for free but can only be used on the O2 network. One of the ‘lightning’ deals announced at 8am and due to expire by 10 am include 29% off Doctor Who: The Complete Series 8, making the DVDs £24.99.
Argos is offering discounts off a huge range of products until the end of the day as well as a free £5 voucher when you spend £50 and a free £10 voucher when you spend £100. Some of the discounts include £45 off the LeapFrog LeapPad Ultra XDI. The children’s tablet computer is available in pink or green for £74.99.
Argos is also selling the Canon PowerShot SX510 12MP Bridge Camera (Black) for less than half price at £119.99, down from the £279.99 RRP.
The healthcare retailer is celebrating Black Friday and Cyber Monday with a wave of deals available for four days from 28 November to 1 December. The best offers include £150 off the Oral-B Pro 6500 Black Smart Series with Bluetooth technology electric toothbrush powered by Braun (exclusive to Boots). The toothbrush costs £99.99 or 9,999 Boots Advantage Card points.
There’s also £49.99 off the Nails Inc. Micro Pedi Gift Set, which comes with a battery operated foot file and hard skin remover and three nail polishes for £30.
The telecoms firm is offering 58% off the annual cost of unlimited broadband and weekend calls packages, until 1 December; as well as 49% off the annual cost of its unlimited BT Infinity 1 broadband and weekend calls package. New customers will also receive a £50 Sainsbury's gift card.
The phone shop is running a "flash sale" until midnight on Tuesday 2 December on a wide range of phones. Among the best is the Sony Xperia Z3 where you can grab a saving on the upfront cost of £170.
Currys / PC World
The tech store has launched its "black tag" sale which runs until Wednesday 3 December and sees items reduced on a range of tech items, including 70% off the DELONGHI Dolce Gusto EDG305WB Mini Me Automatic Play & Select Hot Drinks Machine (available in white and black). The machine costs £29, down from its usual £99.99 price.
There’s up to 15% off across the retailer’s full-price online range today with the discount code MON15. It includes beauty and fragrance products. It’s also running lots of deals on selected products too, including a 50% saving on the Benefit Cabana Glama Makeup kit!, taking the price to £14.25.
House of Fraser
The retailer is announcing new deals every five hours. So far, there’s 70% off across some of its bedding and towels, 20% of coats and dressing gowns and 15% of cosmetics.
The online travel shop is offering four- and five-star hotels for £5 a night, as well as flight and hotel city breaks from £69 and 50% off selected spa and gift experiences – until 2 December. More deals will be announced throughout the day at 10am, noon, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm and 6pm.
Marks & Spencer
Today is last of the four-day M&S Black Friday ‘celebration’. There’s up to 30% off selected items, including the Rosie for Autograph Hooded Luxury Dressing Gown now selling online for £27.65. Other deals include Christmas jumpers for £20 instead of £25, men's moleskin trousers at £24.50 instead of £35, heavily discounted kidswear and even discounts on wine and hampers.
When shopping via Nectar eShops,Nectar is offering double points when you make purchases with Debenhams, Disney Store, Game, Gap, House of Fraser, Lego, O2 Mobile and Topshop until 5 December. The same deal is on offer at Nike, Next, and Swarovski from 28 November until 5 December.
It's offering triple points at Red Letter Days and Selfridges until 5 December. The same deal can be had at Boden, Clarks, Currys, Dorothy Perkins, The Fragrance Shop, PC World, Play.com, Toys R Us, and Virgin Experience Days from 27 November until 5 December; and at Accessorize, Crabtree & Evelyn, Matalan and Monsoon.
Finally, you can get quadruple points at The Body Shop and Harvey's Furniture until Friday 5 December too.
The troubled retailer is automatically applying a 25% discount across the vast majority of its online non-food offering at the checkout. There’s also free delivery on all orders.
The mobile phone firm is promising up to 50% off a "huge range of phones and plans" until the end of today.
