Jeff Prestridge is personal finance editor of The Mail on Sunday. He has been editor for more than 20 years, having previously been personal finance editor of The Sunday Telegraph.
Jeff became passionately interested in money issues in the 1980s when he worked for trade paper Money Management. Since then, he has won numerous awards for his mix of educational articles and campaigning journalism.
Among Jeff’s personal finance interests include customer service (woeful), keeping the personal in finance (branches, people interaction), money education (more of it) and plain English (the money world is littered with jargon).
He hates personal finance injustice, be it on claims not met for spurious reasons or on issues such as pensions (he battled successfully for workers who lost work pensions in the early 2000s).
Jeff has written two books – Complete Personal Finance Guide and Jeff’s Lunchbox. He is a regular speaker on money matters at conferences.
