Oh, now what do I do?

&lt;p&gt;
British Gas called me and discussed a fixed rate that seems to good to be true!  What is the best thing to do at this moment in time?

I used Uswitch and got bitten because the price the new providers were offering at the time had increased by approximately 10% if not slightly more by the time the switch actually happened...
