Actually went into branch and personally told RBS was going on holiday to SE Asia and so would be using current a/c card there.  When there blocked! No cash 2 days!  Panic!   Difficulty getting through on phone.   £25 telephone call later,  first told me nothing wrong then delved further (20 minutes) then unblocked!!  On return, complained and offered £50. compensation.  Did not receive so complained again.  Offered £75.  Again, didn't receive.  Complained yet again, finally received £100.  Took three letters and five months!! Terrible customer service/communication.  Cocky telephone operators on telephone banking (no disrespect to all Scottish people - just bank staff on phone).  M
