Do you trust building societies more than banks?

Comments

I voted that "I don't trust either" which is not strictly true but there was no option to say I trust them both the same, which I feel there should have been.

I do not trust the stated result of the Nationwise Building Society Vote on demutualisation which took place approx. a decade ago and I do not trust the decision of Lloyds when they bought HBOS recently, as that being in their best interest.

Then again, who can you trust these days?

I always trusted Building Societies more than Bank, Though seeing as how we are now treated as savers AND borrowers they ALL seem to have joined in the.  "Lets see how much we can screw them for" brigade.  Ever since interest rates came down to almost nothing, both banks and building societies have totally under performed my savings, and over charged my mortgage charges.  Gordon Brown should have let them ALL go to the wall.

BOTH BANKS AND BUILDING SOCIETIES PAY THEIR HIGH UPS FAR TOO MUCH MONEY
