My boyfriend and I really want to buy a property for approx £140k in the Fareham area of Hampshire, however he needs 2 years accounts as he is a self employed engineer. If we have a £20k deposit would that help us? We can't seem to find a mortgage company to lend to us at the moment.
Any advice please.
