I am spending about the same but getting less. This is disasterous when you are on a fixed income. Shame ont he government for not helping by rteducing the tax on fuel or other basics.

I am trying to spend less on food, clothing, socialising etc. In other words things I have some control over. However the rising cost of other things like gas, fuel and so on is a worry and really affects what's left for daily spending.
