Five-star hotel deals from £39
Holiday goers could bag themselves five-star hotel rooms for as little as £39, according to holiday comparison site hotels.com.
Polish capital Warsaw offers the cheapest five-star accommodation, according to the website's Hotel Price Index (HPI).
A search on hotels.com for two people staying three nights in Warsaw from 2 December shows holiday goers are able to book a room at the Platinum Residence Hotel for £119 - or £39.60 a night.
It's also possible to book rooms at Warsaw's Sheraton hotel for £42 a night and for £43 at the Westin hotel. The average price for five-star accommodation in Warsaw is £86 and the Polish capital is top of the price index.
Marrakech is in second place with average room rates for five-star hotels of just £87, while other eastern European cities occupy the remaining top five slots.
Talinn, Estonia's capital has average five-star room rates of £105; Budapest in Hungary charges £108 on average and average five star accommodation costs £116 in Prague.

"More and more Britons are realising what superb value there is to be had in the former Soviet bloc countries," says Alison Couper, spokesperson for hotels.com.
"Many travellers may feel that five-star accommodation is currently out of their reach but the latest HPI figures show it pays to shop around," Couper adds.
