Where on earth did this £3,500 figure come from?

Cash limit for 2007/2008 is £3000, cash limit for 2008/2009 is £3600. Respective equity/total limits are £7000 and £7200.

On another note - I'd be interested in the calculations that results in a £525 loss on £10,000 savings, since the figure quoted is 5.25% - how is this comparable with a 0.25% cut?

Hi Paul,

Thanks for picking up that typo so quickly! As you can tell from the rest of our coverage we are aware of the current ISA limit, but with articles being posted so quickly mistakes do happen.

It has now been amended - thanks again for bringing our attention to this.
