Hi Charles - I've spoken to our consumer champion Tony Hetherington about your enquiry and he's never heard of either of these companies

Before making any investment it is a good idea to consider what course of redress you would have if something was to go wrong and you wanted to make a complaint or seek compensation.

A google search reveals that Johnson Brown is a fee-based advisory firm based outside of the UK. This means, as it rightly points out on its website, that it is not covered under the Financial Services and Markets Act, and therefore investors who wish to make a complaint or seek compensation will NOT be able to do via the Financial Ombudsman Service or the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

This is something important to bear in mind before making any investment.

Sounds like a boiler room scam to me - I'd steer clear.  Chances are the shares will be virtually worthless and/or impossible to sell.
