Misleading online pricing
One area which could come under the banner of mis-leading/mis-selling is the tactic of headline grabbing interest rates on savings, which, within a month or two, fall to a less than favourable level.
Also, the trick of variable bonus rates! Variable in that they can (and do) fall like a stone once the investors have put their money in.
My way of tracking this is to have Monthly Interest, this way you can spot a drop and move quickly. With Annual Interest you may only spot that you have been hoodwinked 11 months too late!

C. S. Parker Ltd aka Parker Supplies of Perth Scotland who supply ink cartridges and toner advertise on the internet with attractive low prices and offer to pay twice the differece if you can get the items cheaper elsewhere. When you pay for goods the company do not deliver them but keep your money. There are a number of complaints about this company on the Can You Trust Them website. I have suffered a loss of £65.01 through this company.

How unfortunate of a deal. I have always dealt with this printer ink company. Make sure the merchant’s return and warranty policies for their printer ink are clearly stated. Reputable merchants have nothing to hide and check the Web for any warnings against these merchants.
Also, look for merchant trust and logos. These logos may signify that a third-party site has verified the contact information and business practices on the website as stated. However, know that the third party trust logos do not endorse or give recommendations to the quality of the merchant’s printer ink products.
