Savings & Pension

Mon, 24/11/2008 - 21:11

Why bother? That is a very good question. And best part is their is NOT a good answer. We keep being told to save and save more in our pensions and why. With Interest rates a waste of time, the stock market in a slump, and if you do have any savings you will be means tested. Nothing has been done to help the saver, this is going to a much bigger problem in the long term, and needs to be addressed soon. We need to increase the ISA limit to at least £10,000 per year, the choice of cash or share not set amounts. The reduction in interest rates gives me no incentive to save at all, I might aswell rely on the state.
