no change so far. all this talk of higher food prices but i still spend about the same at the supermarket each week. gas bill gone up but no difference yet seeing as its summer. just train fares that i've noticed, but only 10 pound so no biggy.
Petrol is a blow to the wallet but as long as you arent in the situation where you have to count every penny it doesn't make that much difference. funny though, noticed that the pubs at lunchtime haven't been so busy, maybe people are saying no to that friday pint in order to fill up their cars to get home!?
Food prices definitely, now I look at how much things cost and think twice about that little treat when out doing the shopping. Not yet noticed any change in gas/electricity or train fares - yet!- but bracing myself and keeping some money in reserve.
