Forget e-books – the latest must-have gadget is (apparently) the iPad, a 9.7 inch multi-touch tablet device that is something of a halfway house between a laptop and a smartphone.
Meanwhile, Experian Hitwise, an online intelligence service, revealed the Apple iPhone was the most searched for product in the UK in the run-up to Christmas, followed by the Apple iPod Touch and the Xbox 360.
