The loss of worker's perks are at the centre of the British Airways strikes and since the recession hit, many other companies have cut back on staff rewards. Do you think this is a permanent culture change, or will the days of plenty return? Have your say...

I work for social services and we do not receive any sort of perks whatsoever, even though the work can be very stressful and society in general has a negative view of the work we do and loves to lay blame at our door whenever anything goes wrong. When you have a job interview you are given the outline of the work that you are expected to do and are told what your wages will be. Why do some people feel that they should be entitled to all kinds of 'perks' in addition to their wages? If all companies, especially banks, were to pay their staff their agreed annual salary and no more, this country may not be in the financial situation it is currently in. Do people not understand that those perks and bonuses are paid for by us, the customers ????
