Egg credit card withdrawal

How will I know if my Egg card is being withdrawn- I've not heard anything yet does that mean i'm in the clear? Can you shed any more light on this?

Judging by comments in the press over the weekend, the letters have already been sent out. So yes, it sounds like you are in the clear.

The letter should be with you by now. But from what Egg has said it will probably cancel more cards from its customers in the future - a reason to pay up on time perhaps or just stop spending!

I checked the terms and conditions of my (Halifax) credit card after reading the story and it to has a clause that means my card could be taken away at a moment's notice. A bit worrying really, but then what can you do?

The issue is weather the people being canceled are actually bad customers or not - it would seem many are unprofitable rather than bad! Have you got a reason to expect a letter Essexman?
