Every month, we will pick our favourite blog. This month, the user whose blogging skills impress us the most will win a year’s subscription to Moneywise magazine, Britain’s best selling personal finance magazine.

Whether you want to have a rant about your bank or the government’s tax policy, share your thoughts about a particular issue making the headlines, or offer other users advice about their personal finances, why not write a blog?

To get you started, here are a few ideas for a blog:

• What do you think about the way the government treats drivers in this country. Are motorists being unfairly squeezed by car and fuel taxes – just at a time when petrol prices are rising – or are these levies necessary in order to reduce CO2 emissions?

• Have you experienced particularly shocking or exemplary customer service recently? What does good customer service mean to you, and which firms are the worst and best at providing it?

• What are you doing to counter the impact of the credit crunch? Do you have any tips on saving money (or even making money) during these financially tight times?

• Can you recommend a good savings or current account, or ISA? Which deals appeal to you?
