Have you ever shopped around and got a great deal on your insurance only to discover when you came to claim that the service was lousy? Or picked a savings account at the top of the best-buy tables only to see its once competitive rate slide?
Getting a good deal on your financial service products isn't just about getting the best rate or lowest price. From choosing a mortgage or savings account to switching energy suppliers or bank accounts, you also need to be sure that the customer service is top notch. This can make shopping around harder than it needs to be.
That’s why Moneywise launched the annual Customer Service Awards last year. More than 10,000 of you answered our questionnaire telling us about your experiences with the financial services companies you deal with. You told us what you thought of their service and whether or not you trusted them enough to recommend them to friends and family.
And we need your help again. We want to find the financial service companies that treat customers fairly, offer the highest level of service and provide the best value for money.
Complete our online survey and you could also win £1,000 in our prize draw.
Tell us what you think about the banks, lenders, insurers and energy companies you're dealing with - we want to hear about companies that have gone the extra mile to impress you as well as those that have left you tearing your hair out.
The draw will be made on 17 June 2010. The winner of the Moneywise Customer Service Awards 2010 will be announced in the August edition of Moneywise magazine. To qualify for the draw you must take the survey before 26 March 2010. The competition is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over except employees of Moneywise Publishing Ltd and CASL and their group, agents, families or anyone connected with the competition.
Winner will be notified by e-mail. Should no reply be received two weeks after the dispatch of the winners notification Moneywise publishing reserves the right to select an alternative winner. The judges' decision is final. We will not enter into any correspondence about the competition.
